Hubba, hubba!
I can't find verification of this at ESPN, but this eMail has been sent out to Rattler fans:
| ESPN'S COLLEGE GAME DAY COMES TO FAMU: ESPN will stage its' award-winning College Game Day pre-game show live from the Florida A&M campus on Saturday, November 15, beginning at 10 a.m. The long-running program, hosted by Chris Fowler and featuring Coach Lee Corso and former Michigan Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard, will air prior to the network's various game broadcasts which will begin at 12 noon Eastern. FAMU will become the first historically-black college or university to host the program on its campus. |
I am more than a little bit surprised (this is FSU's homecoming week and they have a very big game against Boston College) but it is quite an honor for the Rattlers. It should be very interesting to welcome that crew to The Hill!
FAMU will be playing Hampton (Cookman beat them yesterday up in Hampton) and one of the backstories if not the backstory is the Rattlers new no-nonsense coach, Joe Taylor, was a championship coach at Hampton for years before accepting the job at Fam last December 31st.

It's another great and proud day to be a Rattler!
Gooooo Rattlers!

Gameday was worth watching today and I enjoyed it. The Orange and Green are loud but it was a different show today.

Events like this is always nice especially for college students so they can take the time off and relax and forget about school even for just one day.
