Virus, Virus, Go Away
Unfortunately, I've been possessed by some demon virus that simply will not go away. I couldn't go to that historic game last Saturday here in Tallahassee and you know good and well I desperately wanted to be one in that number when my boys chomped down ole Sammy Seminole. Believe me when I tell you, it has been years and years since a bug has messed with me like this.
Of course, imitating our political opposition as best I can, I blame it on Obama and all of his damn fans! It seems as if somebody is working a Kenyan root on me or something like that. Damn heathens.
This isn't a plea for sympathy or anything like that; just a heads up. I've ignored much eMail for weeks it seems and yet, the world keeps turning. As long as the Gators take care of Bama, my personal prognosis is good. I'd hate to have this mess hanging around while also absorbing a loss by our best team ever.
Finally, a quick note about Barry O; I've had some fears put to rest. He is a damn politician (yes, I say that approvingly). As long as he keeps his lunatic multitudes at a distance -- cool, cool, cool. As long as he doesn't punk out internationally -- cool, cool, cool.
Relatively speaking, of course.
His "true believers" are already becoming disenchanted because they really really believed he wasn't a politician after all. He was The One who would lead us out of the "Bush Wilderness". Funny how O's cabinet looks much like B's cabinet..with the exception of SOS. Obama's roots are deep into Chicago politics. How could anyone with half a brain think he wasn't a pol? I guess the operative phrase is "half a brain". The left wing loonies are having hissie fits over his appointments. These are fun to watch.

JB, I've been to the doc 3X in the past 2 months...I never went more than once a year.

BTW, I have a different take on the "moderate" Barry O, let's just say the best fall guy/patsy is one who appears to be a super-lucky beneficiary.
And recall the Cab-Secs are figureheads...The real work is/has always been done by the Dep/Secs and lower.
The facade may be moderate, but the substance will be radical. And when it goes to sh!t, who will be blamed and nastily replaced? The "moderate" patsies.
