« Rays Win, Longoria Incredible! | Main | Operation Shock the World: Sarah Palin Delivers Again! »

    October 02, 2008

I was expecting Joe to be so much worse than he was. He hit hard on the first 1/3 of the debate, but I think Sarah held her own.

At the very least, she proved she could stand up to the guy and challenge him on some of his wildly inaccurate assertions.

    Somebody's got to challenge them.

I hope, but I'm not positive, that this will energize the conservative side a bit. We've been taking so many hits for the economy, despite the culpability on both sides of the aisle.

Knockout. Palin said all the things that connect with Americans. She is a breath of fresh air.

    It was a great debate!!

She did hold her own, and it seems that McCain camp took the advice of every pundit on the right by actually exposing the other sides plans as bad for the country. Hopefully they'll keep up the pressure and John McCain can repeat Palin's performance in the last two debates.

    Obama needs a new slogan.

    C - Come
    H - Help
    A - Another
    N - Newbie
    G - Get
    E - Elected

She is a breath of fresh air. Down Home and normal acting. As one commentator said. Biden looked as if he hadn't slept for 48 hours.

Let's see the MSM spin this into McCain/Palin is dead.

I don't believe that she was a winner in the debate. I will give her one thing that she did hold her own, but she is not ready to run this nation or aleast be a part of running the nation as of yet. I do also believe with a little more experience, she will overcome all obsticles. I love ya uncle, but she isn't ready. She is just a pretty face looking for a way. Groom that pup first then lets re-look at what she can do. Her time is not now.

Pause to reflect on this: She matched — and trumped several times — a man who has spent his entire adult life on the political stage, run for president twice, and as he mentioned several times, chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Will the liberal media give her her due? No. And, yes, Sarah, we are praying for you. We have been.

She did a great job, yes, she did.

Uh, she was unquestionably the winner, my man.

And don't forget to remember this, black man: anyone who believes Sarah Palin is not ready to be Vice President cannot objectively believe Barack Obama is ready to be President.

It's one of the more bizarre, unthinking positions of Democrats when they insist this woman isn't ready for the SECOND slot yet she has more executive experience than Barack Obama.

Obama hasn't had anything other than a cherry-picked job in his entire life, nephew, and he has never *EVER* been a chief executive.

But I am shocked (and pleased) to see you reading the blog. I may have to fly out to the Northwest for a one-on-one session and try (once again) to set that wife of yours straight on the global warming hoax!

    Go Gators!

Well, rattlergator, you give me hope. I was beginning to go into a depression over this election. This is not the direction I ever dreamed my country would go down. I am old, in my 70's, and I may not see how history plays this. But you give me hope.

Thanks for your forge-ahead optimism. Your articles help keep things in perspective. They contain ideas that get beat up in the regular media. Same with Palin.

Palin did not win the debate. Perhaps you thought she won... it is your right to feel that way. But this article is useful:

It notes that polls indicate most viewers believe Palin won.

Why is it that many on the right feel Palin won, while others (including undecideds) felt Biden won? It's because the GOP/conservative cohort lacks the objectivity to evaluate Palin's performance.

RE: Michelle Malkin: from the current issue of Townhall (vol 1, no 8. p 22)

Q to MM: Have you come to terms with John McCain as a presidential candidate?
    A: No.

Q: So you're not going to vote for him?
    A: No.

EarthTone, I want you to keep hanging your hat on those polls. I've said before, we all see (including myself) what we want to see in these things.

    Time will tell.
