The Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at U.F. has developed an interesting new unmanned aerial vehicle tool that may have serious implications for American agriculture. I pulled the explanatory video from the Orlando Sentinel on the remarkable invention of Dr. Reza Ehsani (apparently a native of Iran with a Ph.D. from Cal-Davis):
A miniature UAV Crop Copter, huh? Well done, Dr. Ehsani.
Thank you for recognizing the crop copter that my husband and his research team developed. Nice blog!

Please give him my congratulations, Elizabeth, and best wishes to you with your work with JBT. I will soon have a post up (hopefully; procrastination rules the moment and it may be days before it gets up) on my recent trip to Haiti.
Maybe, just maybe, the crop copter might have a role to play with agriculture in the north of Haiti and perhaps even your work with citrus.
