Courtesy of a talented commenter over at the JustOneMinute blog who goes by the handle of "daddy," take a look at this my long-neglected-blogging-friends (presuming anyone finds their way over to this desolate spot any longer). It's a great riff utilizing It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown holiday classic:
It's The
Great Pumpkin . . .
George Will!
We all knew the GOPe was Charlie Brown trying to kick the Football, but who knew that George Will was Linus in the worlds most sincere Pumpkin Patch?
The 10:41 George Will link reminded me of something George Will wrote 3 months ago damning the Republicans for "Insincerity" in refusing to consider Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland
"The Republican Party's incoherent response to the Supreme Court vacancy is a partisan reflex in search of a justifying principle. The multiplicity of Republican rationalizations for their refusal to even consider Merrick Garland radiates insincerity."

Naturally George err Linus, no Great Pumpkin or Sincere Supreme Court nominee can show up in a Republican Pumpkin Patch radiating such insincerity! so Linus errr George, takes his blanket and trots off in search of a more Sincere Pumpkin Patch.
In a new Pumpkin Patch he meets Sally from PJMedia and explains to her how completely sincere he is when considering the importance of Conservative Supreme Court Justices ([Here's the earlier-referenced] 10:41 Link [where George Will announces he is leaving the Republican Party])
Sally PJMedia asked George Will Linus about concerns among Republicans that a Hillary Clinton victory guarantees another liberal justice on the Supreme Court. In response, Will Linus said a Republican president is not “the answer” to a conservative-leaning Supreme Court.
So the sincere answer is what George Linus, Hillary?
Sincere George err Linus continues: “Sure, but I’m also concerned with the fact that I do not really believe Republicans think clearly enough about what they really want in judges. Republicans have given us Earl Warren, Brennan, John Paul Stevens, Burger, who was kind of mediocre, Blackmun. Having a Republican president is not an answer in itself,” he said.
You Blockhead, You've wasted another Republican Election by having us stand in this stupid Pumpkin Patch for 4 years waiting for a Sincere Presidential Nominee, and since his name is Trump you're now telling us you're sincerely going to help elect Lying Crooked Hillary !?!@#
You Just wait till next Election, Charlie Brown, you Just wait! I'll find the most Sincere Candidate for President in the whole world, and he'll nominate the most Sincere Supreme Court Judges in the whole world, and he'll do it right here in my Sincere Pumpkin Patch!
Touché, as they might have said back in the day in the "Toujours Pret" 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. There's far, far too much Charlie Brown and Linus types in our D.C. Beltway Republicans and their Congressional partners.
